Bidding for the one of a kind "paw" artwork was fierce among attendees of the PAWcasso event held to benefit The Butler County Humane Society. Every color scheme, paw size and art inspiration was available within this amazing animal art colection. Local schools also donated original "Cat's Pajamas" custom designed T-shirts that sold briskly.

United Way: Taste of The Town

Jody's Pantry Catering was pleased to participate in the United Way: Taste of the Town fundraising event on Monday 10.19.2009 in New Castle. This well-attended event highlighted all types of culinary items from a number of area restaurants, catering companies, and businesses like Brewsters Ice Cream and the New Castle Candy Company.

They review other local vendors that you might be considering working with or could be happy you discovered. They also sometimes publish discounts or package savings that you could be missing out on.

We are so pleased with how it all pulled together--staying true to our black and white company theme. White cabinets, white storage units with frosted glass inserts, black slate counter tops, black and white damask insets, marbleized lighting fixtures...all the elements that went into creating a super chic place for me to design and create cakes and other confections. The "Sunbeams" got married!

Bride Erica has been chronicling her wedding planning journey on the Weddingbee blog as "Miss Sunbeam" and all the planning culminated yesterday as she and Groom Chris were married in Harbison Chapel at Grove City College, with the reception following at Maple Lane Farm in Mercer.

I just want to thank everyone at Jody’s Pantry for doing such a wonderful job! We had our wedding reception at The Grand Ballroom this past weekend (June 6, 2009) and everything was awesome! Your catering staff was so polite/happy/on the ball with everything!

The food was so flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. The cake….HHHmmm…. where to begin with the cake, WOW! We chose wedding white and orange mimosa. This cake was so, so, moist I seriously don’t think that I have had any better…and I am not just saying this because it was my wedding. Once again, thanks to all, you guys are awesome!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping to make yet another United Way Annual Meeting and Campaign Celebration, Red Apple Awards and Leadership Butler County graduation a huge success. With each passing year this event seems to get bigger and better.

Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our first anniversary. We got our anniversary tier and enjoyed the cake just as much as we did the first time!! We were so pleased that the cake survived the year in the freezer.

Our memories of our wedding will always include the wonderful food and cake that you provided. Our friends and family still talk about them both and I just couldn't help but brag to them today about how delicious the cake was even a year later!!
